Hot Butter Apple Spice Toddy

Ingredients
2 oz Bourbon
1 oz LIQUID ALCHEMIST APPLE SPICE SYRUP
1 pat butter
4 oz Hot water
1 dash of angostura bitters
Coarse sugar, for the rim (optional)
Thinly sliced apples and cinnamon, for garnish
Instructions
In a mug, mix together the bourbon, LIQUID ALCHEMIST APPLE SPICE SYRUP, butter, hot water, and angostura bitters. Garnish with thinly sliced apples and cinnamon.
